Grounded is an open world survival game with an emphasis on crafting and combat. Players find themselves in a unique scenario where they are shrunken down to an insect's size and must traverse the sprawling jungle of a backyard lawn to uncover its many secrets and mysteries. Along the way, players can accumulate various materials and upgrades, many of which will require Raw Science to purchase from the Science Shop.
Throughout the game, there are various miniature science labs where you can retrieve Super Chips, which will unlock new recipes and upgrades. The first few labs can be completed in conjunction with the game's main questline. After that, you must decide for yourself which labs to tackle and in which order. Since they vary in both difficulty and their potential rewards, there is an order which will be easier for players to follow.

Having unlocked the outer lab, head inside and open the next door using a nearby button. In the next corridor, you can find BURG.L. Speaking to BURG.L will enable you to use the Science Shop to purchase upgrades. The robot will also give you the quest "Random Access Memories," with the objective of retrieving Super Chips. You can now also use Biometric Scans. These can provide access to several materials within the Oak Lab, including Large Batteries and Milk Molars.
How To Complete The Hedge Lab
The Hedge Lab is the first major exploration quest players will encounter. You will need to ascend an intricate branch network inside a hedge in order to locate it. First, find the Hedge Ascent location, which is marked by a paper clip and a sloped branch which acts as a ramp to begin the climb. While you may encounter some smaller enemies, the main issue here is the potential of falling. Keep this in mind at all times during the ascent.
After reaching the Apricop Punch-O box wedged into the hedge wall, use a nearby zipline to progress across to an outpost on the other side of the hedge. From here, progress down to the Flingman's Flying Disc and take the zipline nearby to another outpost. Finally, a further zipline through a hole in the wall will lead you to the Hedge Lab entrance.

You can access the main entrance of the Haze Lab by detonating either a Bradburst or Splatburst bomb to remove the broken door. Since these items can be difficult to acquire, you might consider using the alternative entrance via the Exposed Pipe, which is located near the border with the Sandbox. Be warned, though, that there are lots of enemies inside the pipes. You will also need to bring either a Bone Dagger or Spider Fang Dagger to clear the pipes of Soggy Root. Once you reach the end of the pipe, you will find yourself inside the lab.
Inside the Haze Lab, players will encounter various TAYZ.Ts and Infected Weevils, but these shouldn't present too many problems at this stage. You will also find an Infected Ladybug boss which can be defeated to obtain the Truffle Tussle mutation. The Haze BURG.L Chip, along with several Bratbursts and Grumble Granola Bars, can be found inside once all enemies have been defeated.
How To Complete The Black Anthill Lab
The Black Anthill Lab is a considerable increase in difficulty from the previous labs, and will require extensive preparation. Located inside the Sandbox, the Black Anthill is full of aggressive enemies such as Black Soldier Ants. Come armed with several Bratburst or Splatburst bombs, since several areas will be blocked off by destructible debris.
The Trash Heap entrance is the easier way to approach. Once inside, follow the red wire along the ceiling, which will lead you to the lab. The sand entrance, while containing more enemies, will eventually lead to a section where the red wire can also be found and traced to the main lab entrance. From this location, you will also be able to access the Black Ant Queen should you choose to.

A central door will lead players to the final BURG.L chip, and an exit can be found by following the corridor to the left.
